This one of a kind sideboard was manufactured in Belgium, circa 1950. This was made to order for a Belgian printing company. Its most notable feature is the top with different sized letters carved from Brazilian hardwood. The cabinet has two sliding doors: one in teak and one in seagrass. The doors reveal four drawers with cut-out handles for easy opening. The use of different materials in different shades creates a contrast. The cabinet rests on four strong metal legs. It remains in good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a patina.
