This P40 chair was designed by Osvaldo Borsani in the 1950s and manufactured by Tecno, Italy in the 1950s-70s. This example has an adjustable headrest, which not all chairs have. It can be adjusted into different positions; the seat, back, footrest, and headrest can all be adjusted separately from each other. The mechanisms is fully working. The chair is made from brass, black lacquered metal, and Ferrari red wool fabric from Keymer Essential Fabrics. This chair comes with new armrests from Tecno, Italy. The fabric and foam interior are new. The brass of the handles, screws, knobs, and logo can be polished on request to give a shiny gold look to the brass.
